Relief
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) supports initiatives by associations that collaborate to channel aid to the Ukrainian people, and the UMH also informs its university community about the many responsible ways they can do their part to help.
In light of the solidary donations received during this time of conflict, the Area of Development Cooperation and Volunteerism at the UMH is grateful for these contributions, and we publicize other ways to collaborate that have been implemented by associations specializing in humanitarian actions and by organizations with experience within Ukraine and/or with links to local organizations there.
La Coordinadora Valenciana de ONGD (Valencian Coordinator NGO network), with which we maintain a collaboration agreement, has proposed a set of recommendations on how to assist people affected by the conflict as well as members of that population who have fled in search of safety in other countries.
